The Welsh community in the Pacific Northwest have been singing at Bryn Seion Welsh Church every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month in an unbroken tradition for over 140 years.
This event is the last in that tradition of semimonthly services and the first in a new tradition as a "historic church" with services a few times a year for special occasions. Bryn Seion Welsh Church is a nondenominational Christian church, established 1884 by Welsh settlers.
Services are in English with some singing and prayers in Welsh.
Our annual Gymanfa Ganu (Welsh hymn-singing festival) is held on the 4th Sunday in September, at 2:00 PM.
